BEIJING — China is willing to expand exchanges with the EU and boost China-EU people-to-people dialogues to benefit more people from both sides, Vice-Premier Liu Yandong said on Oct 10.

Liu made the remarks when meeting with Tibor Navracsics, chair of China-EU high-level people-to-people dialogue from the EU side, and EU Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport.

China and EU attach great importance to people-to-people exchanges, and have successfully held three meetings under the China-EU high-level people-to-people dialogue mechanism, Liu said, adding the cooperation has been fruitful.

Navracsics said that the EU will continue to enhance people-to-people exchanges with China in order to promote the EU-China relationship.
