State councilor welcomes more cooperation with Arkansas

BEIJING — State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Oct 19 met Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, welcoming more cooperation between China and the US.

Yang said China and the US should focus on mutually beneficial cooperation and manage their differences to ensure a stable bilateral relationship that moves steadily forward under the new US administration.

Yang said he hoped the governor remained committed to enhancing friendly cooperation between Arkansas and China.

Hutchinson said he would work to promote cooperation, understanding and friendship between Arkansas and China.
