Vice-Premier Liu Yandong and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets jointly unveiled the 2016 Chinese Film Festival on Nov 8 in Moscow, capital of Russia.

As a key program in the year of China-Russia media exchanges, the film festival will be staged in Moscow and Rostov-on-Don from Nov 8 to 27, and bring seven outstanding Chinese films to Russian fans.

In 2013, President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to hold a film festival in turn each year to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries.
