China has accomplished its transformation from a world factory and upgraded to a high-quality goods supplier on the global stage.

In recent years, the improved ability of R&D, strengthened branding and increasing localization have boosted the popularity of Chinese manufacturing in the global market.

High-tech Chinese enterprises have also started to shine at top-scale overseas exhibitions. At the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting held in Chicago, Neusoft, the largest IT solutions and services provider in China, and Mindray have attracted great attention with their top-notch technologies.

Besides R&D, Huawei, BYD, Lenovo, DJI and other high-end Chinese manufacturers are also taking steps in overseas markets with a reliable and trustworthy brand image.

In recent years, a growing number of Chinese brands have entered into Brazil’s market, and they are quite competitive and highly recognized in the country, according to a professor from Rio de Janeiro State University.

Localized research and management makes it easier for Chinese enterprises to enter into local markets. ZTE, a Chinese telecommunications equipment and systems company, has become the fourth smartphone supplier in North America with over 80 percent local employees, six research centers and one logistics center in the US.

With improving quality and technology, “Made in China” is shrugging off the stereotype, and gaining recognition in the world.

Cheng Yongru, Chinese Commercial Counselor in the Czech Republic said the most obvious change of China-Czech trade is the rising share of high-tech products coming from China.

According to the secretary of China-Fiji trade committee, Chinese products have demonstrated China’s increasing manufacturing and technical abilities.
