China and France both agree that bilateral ties have reached historical levels, Premier Li Keqiang said while meeting the press with French Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve on Feb 21.
Premier Li said the growing cooperation between China and France sends a positive signal to the international market and community.
As the largest developing country in the world, China has not only benefited from globalization, but also contributed to it, said the Premier.
"Last year, China's contribution to the global economy accounted for 30 percent of the total, and China will continue the reform and opening-up," he said.
Cazeneuve said that his country attaches great importance to France-China ties. With a solid foundation and fruitful results, cooperation between the two countries greatly contributes to mutual economic development and people's livelihoods. The French side is ready to strengthen communication with China and further improve pragmatic cooperation in an effort to promote common prosperity of the world.
