China’s imports to total $8 trillion in five years: vice-premier

China is expected to import goods worth $8 trillion in the next five years, Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli said on March 25 at the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia in South China’s Hainan province.

During the period, the country will attract $600 billion of foreign investment, with its outbound investment reaching $750 billion, he said as he highlighted China’s commitment to opening-up and easier access for foreign investment.
