Premier Li Keqiang called for more efforts in improving the ecosystem for innovation when he visited Changyang Campus, a start-up hub in Shanghai, on April 11.
By taking advantage of surrounding universities, including Fudan University and Tongji University, as well as more than 100 research institutions, Changyang Campus is a borderless innovative ecosystem based in an obsolete textile factory that has attracted large numbers of talents from home and abroad.
He interacted with entrepreneurs there, saying they are pioneering new careers in this old factory, which exactly symbolizes the transformation of old growth momentum to new ones.
The Premier called for more efforts in improving the ecosystem for innovation by fully tapping human resources and sharing innovation-related resources through the Internet Plus strategy to realize the upgrade and transformation of the economy.
“I hope you could upgrade the entrepreneurship and mass innovation movement, and make it a world class maker space,” he added.
