Indonesian President Joko Widodo held a welcome ceremony for visiting Premier Li Keqiang on the square of the presidential palace in Bogor, Indonesia, on May 7.

The welcome ceremony combined Indonesia’s traditional and modern elements, with guards wearing traditional clothes and a band playing local musical instruments along the passage. Hundreds of children in traditional clothes said, “Welcome to Indonesia!” in Chinese to the Premier, while waving small national flags of the two countries.

Local residents and more than 15,000 primary and middle-school students also participated in the welcome ceremony along Premier Li’s way to the presidential palace.
