China's non-manufacturing PMI stays in expansion zone

BEIJING — The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's non-manufacturing sector came in at 53.7 in September, down from 53.8 in August, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Sept 30.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction.
