China's non-manufacturing PMI drops in February

BEIJING — The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's non-manufacturing sector came in at 29.6 in February, down from 54.1 in January, the National Bureau of Statistics said Feb 28.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below it reflects contraction.
