Single-digit new COVID-19 cases reported outside Hubei

BEIJING — The Chinese mainland reported six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on March 1 outside Hubei province, the epicenter of the outbreak, according to the National Health Commission on March 2.

The commission said it received reports of 202 new confirmed cases on March 1 from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, including 196 from Hubei.
