FM, US secretary of state discuss ties over phone

BEIJING — State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a telephone conversation on June 29 with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

The two sides compared notes on current China-US relations as well as international and regional issues of common concern, and agreed to keep close contacts.
